We got this for my wife for after delivery care. She did say that there was a tingling-like burn sensation when applied but it wasn't horrible. She placed this in the fridge as recommended by the company for some extra cooling. She switched from tucks to these between the last 2 pregnancies. She would go with fridababy if we decide have a 3rd child. She also used this after a procedure she had done and said that it also worked great for that.

I’m due in two weeks and having this gives me a peace of mind after taking the postpartum class at my hospital—which freaked me out about swelling and pain in the perineal area after giving birth. They said you’ll probably be using these type of products every time after you go to the bathroom. This probably isn’t on most mothers’ baby registry (for me, I didn’t know about the importance of these products until after the class which was closer to the due date) so I definitely recommend getting this as a gift for any future mommy. This contains witch hazel which is soothing and cooling. I also like that it’s a pump so I don’t have to spread anything with my hands.
