• It is important for your child to eat 3-4 meals a day in addition to 1-2 as a snack with continued breastfeeding

• Place the child in a feeding chair at mealtimes to teach them discipline

Make sure that small and sharp objects are kept away and not scattered on the ground

Maintain a safe surrounding, children at this age tend to explore a lot

Install safe caps on the tapered edges of the tables

Try to avoid the curtains with sling ropes hanging from the top which may lead to suffocation

Always place your child in a child’s car seat facing the front after the first year of age and ensure appropriateness of the seat to the child’s age and weight.
